I love color contact lenses. I have probably tried every color you can think of, from different brands. I found that certain colors make my eyes look very pretty, but others are fake or just plain ugly. After a lot of trial and error I found out the rules of selecting best color lenses for your eyes.
To start, you should know that color contact lenses can be of two types - opaque lenses and enhancement color contacts. Enhancements colors lenses give you eyes a slightly different hue or make your eyes appear brighter and more sparkling. They are suitable for those with blue, green or grey eyes. Color contact lens safety
Contact lenses can be used to improve eye sight. You already know how to insert them and how you can care for them. If you want only cosmetic color contacts, talk to your doctor about safe wearing them.
The most important rule of all is that colored contact lenses will block oxygen supply more than prescription contacts. The color part of the contact lenses doesn't allow any oxygen through. This means that for the health of your eyes you shouldn't wear your color lenses for longer then 6-8 hours a day. You should also not sleep with them.
